Are we alone in the Universe?

Lisa Kaltenegger is an astrophysicist and astronomer with a PhD. For several years she has been researching indicators for life-friendly planets outside our solar system and has developed new atmosphere models that are in demand worldwide. She is considered a pioneer in her field. After completing her studies, she worked for the European Space Agency ESA, Harvard University and the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, among others. She was involved in the discovery of two potentially habitable planets and an asteroid was named after her. The New York Times, Washington Post, Die Zeit, FAZ, Kurier, Der Standard, Focus, Spiegel and others reported on their research results. Kaltenegger is director of the Carl Sagan Institute and professor at the renowned Cornell University in the US state of New York.
