This new cooperation will strengthen our bilateral cooperation and make a great contribution to the strong partnership between the two countries that the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and His Excellency Prime Minister Xavier Bettel highlighted during their bilateral virtual summit a few months ago.
SpiceXpress has shipped the much needed Covid test and PSA supplies from around the world when India needed it the most. We are the first carrier to bring the much-needed Covid-19 vaccines to all parts of India. In our endeavor to serve the country and mankind with the best products, we have found the right partner in B Medical Systems who is one of the best in the cold chain packaging and monitoring industry. Not only are we proud today that we have teamed up with one of the world's best companies to provide the best packaging solution, but also a whole new concept for Indian manufacturers to save money and time using these packages. We are proud and excited to say that it will be the first time that the cold chain industry can rent the boxes from the Pharma Logistics Competence Center operated by SpiceXpress, said Sanjiv Gupta, CEO of SpiceXpress.
With the introduction of the COVID-19 vaccines, pharmaceutical cold chain logistics are facing unprecedented distribution costs. With the varying temperature profiles of vaccines and other pharmaceuticals, the size of the doses being transported, and the stringent cold chain requirements combined with regulations imposed by vaccine manufacturers and governments, air freight services around the world are under tremendous pressure. As one of India's leading air freight services, SpiceXpress plays a critical role in ensuring vaccines and pharmaceutical preparations are efficiently and safely delivered across the country. We are proud and honored to be associated with SpiceXpress and are pleased that our transport boxes, also made in India, will contribute to the effort to maintain an uninterrupted cold chain.
