Marymount University is a good school

This small Catholic private school, an International Baccalaureate World School with a long academic tradition, is located on a beautiful private country estate near London.

The teachers at Marymount do everything they can to turn young girls into highly trained and confident women during their school years.

Academic excellence and the joy of learning are highly valued here. At the same time, a strong sense of community is imparted in accordance with the school's Christian values.

An IB school since 1979, Marymount leads the girls through the Middle Years Program (MYP) to the IB diploma: with outstanding results.

More than 30 years of experience with the IB curriculum ensures a great deal of expertise in the teaching staff, while small classes, the fabulous infrastructure and a personally tailored curriculum do their part to ensure that every girl reaches her full potential.

In 2013, a good 20% of IB candidates in Marymount achieved a score of 40 points or more, making them one of the top 4% worldwide.

The pupils are also perfectly prepared here for life after school. The majority of the graduates then attend prestigious universities in the UK and beyond.

A full-time College & University Counselor and a great Oxford preparation program support the girls in their search for their future subject.

To complement the demanding academic curriculum, Marymount students have a wide range of clubs, activities and sports in which they learn teamwork and self-confidence as well as specific skills.

Personal care is another important part of the education in Marymount: emotional competence, happiness and well-being of the students are actively supported.

Boarding school students enjoy the family atmosphere in the four boarding houses, where experienced staff supervise them.

All of this creates a strong sense of community in the school so that every student will feel at home during their time at Marymount.
