Why does Naruto have so many flashbacks

Do I have to see Naruto before Naruto Shippuden?

You don't necessarily have to watch the first part of Naruto before the Shippuden part, but I highly recommend that you check it out.

There are several reasons why you should check out the first part (or at least read the manga):

- Character development:

You will start following the characters from their first days in the academy and you will start to see them grow with each episode. You will know their life, personality, love some and hate some, you will understand them and how they feel about each other and watch every single event that made them get to what they are in the Shipudden part .

- Grow in strength:

When you start with the first Naruto part, the first thing you will learn is ninja techniques for beginners. First of all, you will find that creating a clone is a huge accomplishment! And after long episodes and long days of training / combat, you will begin to see the evolution of each technique and feel the value of it, even when they are small, and that is the most important part in any anime: character development, just for This part: the growth of strength (physical and mental). By the time you start Shippuden you will already start with great techniques, strong characters, great battles ... and that's not that cool at first.

- The history:

Of course, if you skip part of the anime, you're skipping part of the story, precisely the childhood of the famous characters (and it was the fun part of the story since Shippuden is part of the war).

There are some other points that you can miss if you skip the first part, but like I said earlier, it's not that you can't see Shippuden directly, it's better that you have been with the characters from their early days to grow.

There are many people who want to lose their Naruto memory so that they can see it again. You still haven't seen it!Don't miss this chance :)

And the evolution of Sasuke's Sharingan, Naruto and the Kyuubi, Team 7 and a lot more.

rps

The final fight between Sasuke and Orochimaru takes place in Naruto or Shippuden.

Nara Shikamaru

@rps, I think in Shippuden.

After the fight between Sasuke and Naruto, the rest of the first part of Naruto seems to be just filler. There are probably only 3 arches that I have seen that matter to Shippuden, the arch with the girl becoming a mermaid, one of Orochimaru's experiments where we find out what happened between Anko and Orochimaru, the arch where Naruto joins Hinata's team to find this bug and the final arc where Gara is attacked by these gun hunters even though I've only seen the 3 tails so I have no idea how much more the filler is telling
