"This is not an ayurveda hotel but a hotel with ayurveda offer-the difference is essential, since the surrounding area is more like a normal hotel-many Russians who unabashedly have their phone on everywhere (at breakfast ...), the food tastes good, but is not bad Doshas divided, there are too many unhealthy sweet dishes (wheat flour cakes, rolls ...), the juices are freshly squeezed, but sweetened afterwards !!, the treatment is ok, but the furniture is worn out (benches, towels) Therapists work hard for little money !, the pool area is ok, too little value is placed on furniture that has not been worn (side tables are dirty, the wooden loungers too, the cushions are not wiped clean) unfortunately the pool is closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. allegedly because of cleaning (chlorine), the garden is lovingly kept clean by the simple employees, the beach access is partly not available, especially in the rainy season, swimming in the sea was not possible "

Very relaxed for us and the children - from my point of view as a frequent flyer that is one of the best criticisms you can give a hotel. Recommended for families with children - the usual worries about a vacation in India with wife or children are unfounded here. Unfortunately, the journey is a bit of a hassle because there are no direct flights, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The booked room "Arabian Sea View" was very large with a great view and a nice balcony. Breakfast buffet was also varied and sufficient. I can't rate the lunch and dinner buffets, as I preferred to go to one of the many nice restaurants right on the beach. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to the beach, but it is only a 5 minute walk. Tuktuks return first charge INR 100, but also drive for INR 50 (you could probably continue to trade at this time of the year). Incidentally, taxis were available for the same price. The water in the pool was more green than blue for 2 days, then there was "chemistry" overnight and the bottom of the pool was vacuumed the next morning. I think the quality must have been good, as some of the children spent most of the day in the water. Internet is unfortunately chargeable - also in the lobby area, but really high-speed. The airport transfer offered for INR 1,200 is far overpriced. Even the taxis at the Kempinski next to it only charge INR 600. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

this complex has a pool and is very nicely located. The only real downside is that the location shown on the homepage - and also on tripadvisor - is not correct (was reported to tripadvisor and will hopefully be corrected). the location is approx. 12 km south of kovalam on chowara beach. the beach itself is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. taxis or rickshaws to kovalam are relatively expensive. we were there for 3 days and can recommend it - for people who do not need the hustle and bustle of kovalam all the time.
